(June 28, 2009) Held at our Waterloo location at 43 Allen Street West in Waterloo, HopeSpring Day 2009 was a smashing success! It was a chance for members, volunteers, donors and community leaders to come together and meet or reconnect with the people and the place that has helped so many (4000 in the last year alone!).

Special greetings came from Mayors Brenda Halloran and Carl Zehr, as well as Members of Parliament Stephen Woodworth, Peter Braid, and Harold Albreicht (in absentia). Founder and long term volunteer/staff/board member Patricia Carty was honoured, along with donor Bernie Poetker and the Zonta Club of Kitchener-Waterloo for their recent grant allowing us to renovate our Waterloo wig boutique.
