Last night was a very proud night for HopeSpring.  The Volunteer Action Centre Impact Awards were held at City Hall and HopeSpring volunteers Pat Carty and Trish Beahan were both nominated in separate categories.  

Trish was nominated in the category of Innovative Involvement and has been instrumental in raising over $118,000 through her involvement as the choreographer for Dancing with the Stars for 4 years.  She has given over 2000 hours of her time to this event.  Quite a phenomenal contribution!  Trish had a table of committee members and other dancers there to honor her.

Pat Carty was nominated and won the Outstanding Leadership Award.  Pat's role begain as a Founder of HopeSpring and last night it was wonderful to celebrate her commitment over the years to take on many roles and tasks for the sake of getting things done!  Pat gave a beautiful speech acknowledging all the other organizations and how we are an inspiration to each other and brought many people to tears with her heartfelt words.  

HopeSpring is able to offer our services free to the community because of people like Pat and Trish as well as all the volunteers who support our work in their own ways.  We are very grateful for all their contributions.
