Dee Doering Hi, I'm Dee Doering. I started learning Reiki in 2007, and continued my journey with Reiki since. I eventually became a Usui Reiki Master Teacher, as well as a Karuna Master Teacher. In a session, I ask the recipient what direction or focus they would like/appreciate for their session. If they don't have one, then we go with the flow of where their body guides us. A couple of benefits to an in-person session, is the touch of Reiki, as well as the social part. The benefits of a distant session, is the recipient doesn't have to get up off the table once the session is done, they can stay comfy where they are as long as they desire. I've also noticed that most of the time, a distant healing doesn't take as long. Reiki offers the recipient an opportunity to relax on a higher level to raise their vibration. In this higher vibration, our bodies have a better chance of finding its' balance. |
