The floor exercises focus on strength and flexibility in the upper body. The water resistance exercises are gentle but effective. The water’s buoyancy promotes ease of movement and the natural compression, good for everyone, is especially beneficial for lymphedema.
ENCORE can help women:
* Improve mobility and flexibility in the arms and shoulders
* Improve strength in the upper body
* Boost self-esteem and self-image
* Relieve some of the discomforts associated with surgery
* Develop a positive attitude towards health and life
ENCORE is more than an exercise program. It is a supportive environment where women are able to share their experiences, concerns, and feelings with other women who understand.
