Encore Fall 2018 Session Speaker - Kristin Long
ENCORE is a FREE exercise and education program designed specifically for women who have experienced mastectomy, lumpectomy or breast reconstruction surgery at any time in their lives. Based around floor and pool exercises and relaxation techniques, ENCORE is safe, fun and therapeutic.
The floor exercises focus on strength and flexibility in the upper body. The water resistance exercises are gentle but effective. The water’s buoyancy promotes ease of movement and the natural compression, good for everyone, is especially beneficial for lymphedema.
