In this week's edition Amy speaks to our Caregivers! Caregiver's remember it's important to CARE for yourselves. Amy breaks down her advice into easy and manageable bites of information take-away's.
The holidays are meant to be a joyous, festive time of year, except when you add in COVID and the compromised health of a loved one to the mix, it can develop into one giant stress cocktail.

For the caregiver, this time of year adds additional stresses that other’s might not encounter; such as the constant need to physically distance. Then add in seasonal tasks like shopping for holiday gifts, wrapping presents, decorating the house and hosting our bubble get-togethers; the pressures of the season can soon take its toll and become downright exhausting. The result is often be a case of caregiver burnout.

Largely, we were happy to wish 2020 goodbye, a year that brought us unprecedented change and disruption! But, what if 2020 DID bring us gifts and silver-linings? What if this was a year of unprecedented change that turned out to be a positive turning point for society and for us personally?
I invite you to take the time to reflect on the lessons, the teachings, the hidden gifts and blessings that 2020 brought you, despite or perhaps because of the pandemic. Maybe it was the gift of slowing down, having quality time with the ones you love or maybe a newly discovered hobby.
For 2021, rather than making resolutions, I ask you to consider instead welcoming 2021 with Intentions!
