Good Grief: Virtual Support group for teens :This program is a joint initiative of Bereaved Families of Ontario - Midwestern Region and Hummingbird Centre for Hope
Good Grief focuses on helping teens (ages 13 to 17) understand and cope with grief after a death. This group will offer a safe and supportive atmosphere in which teens can work through their feelings and share their experiences with a group of peers.
The group will be offered from 7-8 p.m. on:
Each session will feature a topic to guide discussion and sharing about their grief and their person who died.
Registration for the Good Grief virtual group is required and an intake is required for first-time group participants. We also require that a parent or caregiver is in the home when teens participate in the group.
