Where do you find inspiration?
Life has changed dramatically with the onset of COVID and as we slowly re-open our economy, there are so many unknowns and lingering fears regarding what our new way of being looks and feels like.
Self care has become more than a luxury we fit into our lives and busy schedule. It is now a necessity and essential to our overall wellbeing. Self care activities directly supports your overall mental, physical and emotional health.
Think of some ways you can take care of yourself each day to feel grounded, nourished and replenished in simple ways, such as:
- Brewing your favourite cup of coffee or tea and enjoying the aroma and taste as you savour it outside,
- Taking a walk outside in nature, appreciating the trees, the beautiful flowers and birds around you,
- Spending safe, quality time with a loved one, or
- Rediscovering a hobby or activity which you enjoy but may have put down.
How and where we find inspiration is important to how we live each day fully and with meaning and intention.
Enjoy taking care of you. Remember it is not at all indulgent but rather a necessity!
