Facilitator’s Bio: Zoha Kan-Lead Assistant Zoha is currently a first-year undergraduate student at Wilfrid Laurier University on the Waterloo Campus majoring in Biology & Psychology. She has prior experience as a science tutor and working with children of all ages. She hopes to promote healthy emotions by engaging children in scientific activities. Alex Meng-Program Assistant Alex is an Undergraduate student in her fourth year in the Psychology and Neuroscience program at Wilfrid Laurier University. She is currently writing a book on developmental psychology while doing research on wellness with Dr. Simon Coloumbe at Wilfrid Laurier University. She has lots of experience working with children, which is what led to her interest in developmental psychology. Humna Adnan-Program Assistant Humna is an undergraduate student at Wilfrid Laurier University majoring in Health Sciences. She enjoys working with children and has prior experience volunteering as an early years classroom assistant and a tutor. She hopes to share her love for sciences and ignite a love of learning with the children she interacts with alongside promoting a healthy attitude. Maytal Soref-Program Assistant Maytal is an Undergraduate Student in her first year at Wilfrid Laurier University majoring in Health Sciences. She enjoys working with children and teaching science. This will be her first year volunteering at HopeSpring Cancer Support Centre and she hopes to provide fun and engaging activities. |
