A play-based group for kids affected by cancer 8-13 years of age.
This is an 8-week program designed to help children understand their emotions in a safe environment.
Through the 8 weeks, the children will develop helpful skills and tools to use when facing BIG emotions.
This program aims to help children share the different feelings that they may be going through, with other children, creating lasting connections.
Kids will have the opportunity through these connections to talk about cancer and understand what it means to go through a cancer journey, whether it’s a loved one facing the journey or they themselves are going through cancer.
