Puddle Jumpers
Helping Children understand their emotions through a 7 week program. Children will learn what they're feeling, how to feel it and better strategies to feel less overwhelmed. But what about the parents? Each child will be given a package that includes "How to talk to my child about cancer".
Puddle Jumpers
Puddle Jumpers is a group-based supportive care program for children aged 5 to 13. Each class has therapeutic lesson goals to help children who have a parent or caregiver going through cancer. We talk about really tough stuff and then engage in a fun, age appropriate themed activity that helps improve their understanding of cancer and addresses both their informational and emotional support needs.
