Peer Support

Peer Support Chat Series

Presented by Peer Support

The Cancer Journey can be a lonely one

No better way than to speak with others going through a similar experience. Providing encouragement and hope through empathy between people.

Do you struggle with the impacts of mental health and stress related to your cancer diagnosis? if so, please join us.

During the event, Amy will discuss different strategies and tools to cope with stress related to cancer. This can help patients to learn new ways to better cope with stress and prevent the onset of mental illness.

Peer support is emotional and practical support between two people who share a common experience, such as a mental health challenge or illness. A Peer Supporter has lived through that similar experience, and is trained to support others.
